Sebaztian Baz
Sebaztian Baz is an Argentine filmmaker, screenwriter and producer whose work blends satire, dark humor, thrillers and unconventional storytelling. During his formative years as a filmmaker, he developed his visual language through photography and experimental work in short films and music videos. Baz made his feature directorial debut with "Sombras Chinas" (2025), a satirical thriller about social media, identity and the pursuit of online popularity. Written, directed and produced by Baz, the film was conceived and shot natively in a 9:16 vertical format. Its theatrical release was presented in its original vertical format. "Sombras Chinas" went on to receive recognition at multiple international film festivals, including the Gold Remi Award for Best Experimental Feature at WorldFest-Houston.
