Horror fan 4 @Horrorfan4life Sep 25, 2026 This movie was funny and silly but I don't believe that's what they were going for. Poet played by Nicholson is fired and is aloud to hang out with the California hells angels. He starts messing with an old lady belonging to buddy. At first everything is cool but poet soon learns just how brutal they can be. The fight scenes were bad and reminded me of Adam wests batman fights but without the silly sounds. The ending was abrupt and was generic. Timothy Treakle See more Biker B @RT65637081 Jun 4, 2023 Great old school biker flick! See more Petros T @PetrosTserpelis Oct 8, 2022 Do you like prolonged sequences of people casually riding their bikes? Or poorly directed fist fights? Or hippy partying? I hope you do, 'cause in "Hells Angels On Wheels" you're going to get all that on identical repeat a gazillion times. Was there even a script to this or were they making it up as they went along? Literally nothing worth mentioning happens, except that some scenes are out of focus and that there is a character with a prominent swastika tattoo that simply never gets addressed. The dialogue was pretty genuine, so long as you allow for the melodrama kind of stuff of those days. It had Jack Nicholson as well as that guy from the Hell's Angels in it! Some nice performances and believable love triangle stuff. But for a 13 year old kid on his first date with his badass moll this was like the other side of life. This was the real stuff. No authority, hot babes, motorcycles and smokes rolled up in the sleeve kind of stuff. No wonder juvenile delinquency spiked in the 60's (And it was fun). I say all this to underline the importance of this little film, which, aside from ER was the most influential of the period motorcycle genre. Anyway, have fun and watch it with your favorite badass main squeeze, cold beer and a Marlboro. See more delysid d @RT67044741 Mar 31, 2018 the hells angels are bad ASSES! See more Read all reviews
