Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron), a homeless black teen, has drifted in and out of the school system for years. Then Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) and her husband, Sean (Tim McGraw), take him in. The Tuohys eventually become Michael's legal guardians, transforming both his life and theirs. Michael's tremendous size and protective instincts make him a formidable force on the gridiron, and with help from his new family and devoted tutor, he realizes his potential as a student and football player.

There's too much emotional manipulation and huge problems seem to get solved a little too easily for it to be 100 percent believable, but it is an entertaining movie anchored by two very good, but very different actors.

Sentimentally acknowledged the underlying flawed humanity adjacent to the depicted character study’s emotional outreaching with a subtly powerful message regarding granting second chances, but what’s central to this film is the palpable adoptive, influential heart between Bullock’s remarkably fiery performance and Anton’s gentle rawness with fragile nuanced innocence. (B+)

Awful Movie. They made Michael Oher seem like a Moron. Example: In one scene he's in a blocking drill at practice and gets distracted by balloons. Extremely over embellished. Look at Oher's actually story and you'll see how poorly this was done

The blind side was a movie that honestly caught my attention to settle and fully watch without any skipping. Hahah What i loved most is that it was more of compassion, opportunities and the power of belief in others.

The Blind Side is a movie based on the life story of Michael Oher. Of course, it's not perfect, and there are definitely some improvements to be made, but overall, it is worth a watch.

This movie was amazing and it gives you so much. Sandra Bullock's performance was great, I would actually go so far as saying it was her best ever. I really think she might get an Oscar for it this year. The real Leigh Anne was born just so that Sandra Bullock could play her in this movie. She was dead on throughout the whole movie. If you haven't seen it you have to. I usually get really bored watching true life stories but this one kept me interested thru out the whole movie. If there was such a thing as a perfect movie, this would be it. Great plot, Amazing actors, Talented directors, etc. Go and see it. And I really think both men and women will like this one. It has a very sensitive touch but still it has a lot of funny moments and it has football in it.
