John C. @JohnnyC1960 Dec 13, 2025 Had some decent trappings of the Italian horror movies in those days including some very attractive women but just not worth it. Not bad enough to be good. See more

Apr 4, 2018 Defiantly interesting plot material but not so endearing character personalities. These characters clearly appear to be trapped in their own world, dancing on the underside of glass in congruence frame. But would you want the Black Death any other way, really? Movie making techniques have really advanced since when this film was made. Instead of ambiance, we see more than a fair share of drear and dullness. By 3/4 point, I was bored hanging on for the plot to develop at a better pace. The only machination clicking into place by end of film was the one set up in the beginning, reminiscent of some drawbridge losing its chain latch, falling to earth unappeased. See more
