Amid some chaotic shifts in tone and pacing there’s an okay movie here. The premise is a fun and interesting idea but in execution it never quite lives up to that promise. Still there are far worse heist movies you could spend your time watching. If this lands on a streaming service you subscribe to and you’re in the mood for a relatively middling heist flick it’s worth considering.

Such a fun mix of comedy, suspense, and digs at the industry. The cast was a great ensemble. I laughed out loud multiple times and did not expect the ending. Great movie!

Okay, Above the Line was EVEN better than I expected. Honestly, I went in just wanting a fun movie night, but this turned out to be easily one of the funniest, darkest heist movies I’ve seen in a while. If you love dark comedies that actually have something to say, you HAVE to watch this.

This was simply a great comedy to watch. It’s easy viewing, funny, and well structured, including a few extra plot twists to keep the audience guessing. I believe this is Jeff Collins’ best movie yet and looking forward to what he creates and directs in the future. Excellent!
