What could have been a passable comedy, given the combined talents of Akshay-Om-Kirron-Rajpal in that department, never really gets a start. The lack of smartness in the writing shows up the absence of a plot.

The movie claims to be adapted from a Gujarati play of the same name. I'm not sure if the said play had the Hollywood movie Back To The Future for its premise. This picture certainly does.

The film is obviously inspired by Robert Zememkis' 1985 film, Back To The Future, where teenager Michael J. Fox had a similar job at hand. But must we need to tell you which one was better...

Action Replayy promises us a fun romp through an iconic decade of the past: the 1970s. Bollywood in that era was indeed a riot and has been the premise of a few good retro films. This is not one of them.

Action Replayy is a light-hearted rom-com that should be viewed without really seeking much rationale or logic behind every action and reaction

Pretty funny actually watching someone attempt to make two people who clearly hate each other fall in love. Kind of a Hatfields and McCoys thing going on too with the family feuds.

Can't believe Akshay as well as Aishwarya said yes to this movie and Vipul actually made a movie this bad, this is a horrible remake of Back To The Future.

If you are familiar with bollywood films, you know this is just one of many! but the charm in the characters is adorable!! A lot of plot holes but it can be forgiving when you listening to the songs and see the dance performances

Action Replayy is a good family film, I mean for the whole family together, you should watch it on your spare time at Diwali or something, but mostly as a time-pass movie, the film fails to create an impact! The over-acting, badly written script, ridiculous performances ruin the hilarious humor in between! Some funny scenes, some romance scenes, some action, that's about it! Recommended at your own risk! Verdict = Flop
