Slinkie T @RT34738069 15h One of my favorite movies of all time. I prefer the title of Detroit Driller Killer though. It's low budget, I know but this movie has a charm to me that transcends the 'so bad its good' genre. This is a sequel/homage to a movie from the 70s but you don't need to see that one. I never did. A writer named Reno snaps and goes on a killing spree. That's really all the set up you need. The kills are spread out trough the movie and they differ in method and craft. You might see some plushy guts or a mannequin head with some mysterious red liquid. The 'fake' music by Larry the Rapper and Spl*oge are amazing. The slow droning music does get on your nerves at time, especially during the "rave". We learn quite a lot about the main character actually. The voice over in the beginning does well to set the scene, the relationship with the girlfriend is well established and at some point we get an alley scene in which Reno loses his mind while letting the audience know what he is thinking.
