The subject matter could have been fascinating if the film weren't underwritten. Williams tries to build an entire movie around just a few key scenes and lots of filler.

Americons has its heart and justifiably outraged politics in the right place; it just lacks artistry or real insight.

Americons is like The Wolf of Wall Street without the skill, depth, nuance, humor, or poignancy.

I managed a mortgage bank who specialized in "Stated Income" Option Arm loans that unfortunately closed in 2007. This movie was so accurate to what I saw and experienced it was frightening. Kudos to Beau Williams for the courage to share his story.
