Matthew S @RT80968004 Jun 7, 2026 A unique and special take on that age (after college and right before homelessness) when it stops being possible to ignore the press of adult responsibilities, because there's no one left who can just float along with you anymore. In this movie, two friends from childhood who would be a couple if they weren't both straight, and could stay pure and uncompromising bohemians if they had just a little more talent, find that their connection is constituted too much of holding back from the world, and cannot survive having to finally join it. They'll have to each do that on their own. Every moment, every line almost, is weird and eccentric, but not a word or moment or even image wasted, and not a false note throughout. Fans of Cholodenko's movies should appreciate the vibe here. 4 of 5 stars. See more

Dec 5, 2016 Arguably one of the most annoying films I have ever seen- terrible pretentious writing, inexcusable bad acting and obnoxious no talent leads- tedious story- See more

cesare m @RT22684087 Jun 12, 2015 It appears like a pointless story about two clueless and immature twenty-somethings. But there's more subtlety than that, as the delicate and perfect ending will clearly show. See more
