Jeff Bridges, Tim Robbins, Joan Cusack, Hope Davis, Spencer Treat Clark, Robert Gossett, Mason Gamble, and the rest of the cast did a great job in this movie. The plot of the movie was dramatic, thrilling, and suspenseful. It's about wondering about who your neighbors really are. If you haven't seen this movie yet, check it out sometime. It's worth watching. See more James A @Droz27 Aug 17 I expected more given the positive reviews. I love Jeff Bridges, but from the start it felt like he was struggling with the character and script. Probably because the script is stilted and the diologue is awkward and unnatural. It would have been much better if we weren't sure if Tim Robbins was actually a villain or if it was just paranoia. But it's obvious from the start that something is up, and the twist at the end is the only good piece of writing. Both leads felt uncomfortable in their roles and you have to suspend too much disbelief to get to the payoff. Not worth it imo.
