Rebekah P @RT93625276 Mar 19, 2026 This is an adorable, fun movie that is enjoyed by my 63 year old father, my 10 year old daughter, and everyone in between! A must see classic! See more Ed . @RT01276001 Aug 22, 2025 Enjoyable thanks to the charm of its stars Ginger Rogers, David Niven and Charles Coburn. I find interesting these three things: First, that it made it past the "Hays" Code, even though it was made clear that Rogers wasn't an out-of-wedlock mother. Second, the compassion showed to the assumed mother. Finally, the disconnect from the reality of the times, though that can be chalked off to the nature of a screwball comedy. Overall, a pleasant ~hour and a half with some fine dancing by Fred's better half. See more Joel H @786Joel Nov 3, 2023 It's been many years since I first watched Bachelor Mother. To be honest, I didn't remember that much about it, aside from the basic plot and the fact that I found Ginger Rogers to be very charming. I'm happy to say that I still found it to be an enjoyable movie, and I still think Ginger Rogers is very charming. And David Niven is no slouch, either. This lighthearted film just has such a sweet innocence to it, even though it's based around child abandonment. It also made me chuckle multiple times. If you're a fan of romantic comedies, Bachelor Mother is definitely a movie you should check out. See more Steve D @RT35616104 Apr 17, 2023 Really Cute and a lot of fun.
