Karl Davis wakes in a wrecked hotel room with no memory of what has happened, where he is, or even who he is. When he discovers a body in the bathtub and two police officers knock at his door, it sets off a terrifying, explosive chain of events that sends Karl and hotel maid Molly on a blind descent into a world of confusion and conspiracy -- told almost entirely from the protagonist's point of view.

It’s kind of glorious. But, unsurprisingly Cheung can’t keep the novelty level up. Once he gets back to the actual plot after the hour mark, the film reverts to less-than-interesting gangland-retribution shtick. Go to Full Review

Filmmaker Chee Keong Cheung keeps everything moving so briskly that it's a challenge to catch the steady stream of nutty jokes that accompany the grisly chaos. Go to Full Review

Bad Day At The Office’s irreverent tone and no-holds-barred action might not be for everyone, but those willing to give it a chance will certainly never get bored by it. Go to Full Review

The video game action comes so thick and fast it’s rarely clear just what is going on, the story is paper thin, and the ‘humour’ is a mix of not taking extreme violence seriously, along with a copious supply of fart gags. Go to Full Review

As fun as it is to see Hannah fronting the action, though, this puerile exercise in hyperactivity and eye-gouging hyper-violence gets pretty tiresome pretty quickly. Go to Full Review

Barbara T @Babs84 1 hr ago Went to see this as a random film, when I had accidentally seen the original film I booked at unseen. Proceeded to be made to feel queasy! Once you get over the motion sickness, you get a relentless barrage of pointless unbelievable actions one after the other. Not least that he should be dead 1000 times over! We spent over an hour just trying to figure out what we were watching. Several people walked out but I can't help watching to the end once committed. Then the last probably 20 mins (felt like an hour) is just "oh there's a twist" on a loop. Then it ends, and reveals the big ending, which was what I was expecting way earlier. I am not fussy about films, watch just about anything, but this goes on my warning list for people: do not watch. John Hannah is the only person trying to act in it and the whole thing is some weird fever dream leaving you feeling like you wasted your time. Stay home or watch anything else!
