Monique H @RT28809342 Oct 18, 2025 The reddit reviews praise this thing like crazy as a hidden gem (overrated). It's more of a hidden terror. This is gory, carnal, bloody, visceral (literally). The genre is horror, don't be mistaken. 'fantasy' gives you an entirely wrong impression. Not for the faint of heart. You have to be open minded and appreciate you will probably never know exactly what the fvck the explanation really is. Horrifying and gross. Glad I watched this alone (my loved ones would've spewed). Glad I watched it anyway I guess. This moving was a fvcking trip. See more

Logan D @Greynomad38 Aug 13, 2025 Five officers receive a call for backup from cops who have gon to a town known for strange rumors. Hilarity ensues. An impressive debut from Evrenol, who went on to direct Girl with No Mouth. This film is visually bold and atmospherically oppressive, favoring mood over clarity. Mehmet Cerrahoğlu’s portrayal of “The Father” is haunting and physically uncanny. The deliberate pacing might be an issue for some but I found the movie mesmerizing. Not for the squeamish See more

Gabriel T @GabrielFagundes Aug 6, 2025 I could notice there was a lot of work and good ideas behind it, but it lacks tension and the characters are not charismatic so I couldn't care about the danger they were facing, especially the main character. The movie focus on gore, not fear, (it isn't necessarily a problem), but using weird sexual acts to induce the gore didn't work for me See more

See more

Darin W @RT74655188 Jan 28, 2025 It all starts out pretty uneventful but then takes a turn and another turn and even more to the point that you aren't sure what is happening now and what are flashbacks. You don't really get the hints to what's going on until the end and then it hits you. Literally. Not crazy about having to use subtitles as the movie is in Turkish but still kept me watching.
