If you’ve watched Batman the animated series and continued with Batman beyond this is the perfect final film for it, which it shouldn’t have been. If the minds that brought this to us could’ve given us more then it’s on Warner bros and DC for not letting it happen. Mark Hamill is in top form as well a Will and the late great Kevin. Must watch for hardcore Batman and DC fans. What an amazing animated feature! See more matthias S @Thescreenasvor Apr 8 I was never the biggest fan of the Batman Beyond show, but Return of the Joker is pretty much exactly what I wanted it to be. It feels way more connected to the original animated series, with that darker tone, the iconic soundtrack, and the same voice cast bringing everything together. The story digs into what actually happened to the Joker, which was easily the most interesting part, and there’s some really strong, memorable sequences throughout. It also does a solid job expanding the world and making it feel meaningful. That said, I already knew the big twist going in, and I think that dulled the impact quite a bit. Still, it’s a strong 3.5/5 for me.
