Their strained relationship sours when Cherie quits her school’s dance team and moves in with her father. Realizing she can pass for a teenager, Renee enrolls in a new high school under Cherie’s name and joins the dance team to compete in the upcoming Fall Dance Classic to win Cherie a college scholarship.

Steve C @SteveC1313 14h I really enjoy the LMN series of mysteries and this movie has an interesting concept but OMG, it is awful. The mom who is pretending to be a teenager looks 40 even in a school girl's outfit. Add to that exaggerated teen accent, makeup and mannerisms it's just to hard to suspend that much reality.
