A tightening of the screws would have helped this thriller immensely. But Cole and Krudy are after something a little different here than just two sister and one downward spiral.

It's normally not a great sign when the lead characters are less compelling than anything around them, but the Connollys' predicament opens up the weird bits of village mythology and feminine conspiracy that secretly drives the film forward.

Luckily, the film regains some vigour thanks to flashes of dark humour and an inspired soundtrack full of hearty, lung-expanding sea shanties.

I created an account for this. It feels like it they tried to be quirky and edgy, including basing it in a quaint coastal town. I am angry that I finished watching it. Does Bezos pay for reviews? How is this poor thriller rated at 99%?

A focused little gem. Maine atmosphere, small-town vice, fish, and murder. Kinda perfect.

An enjoyable, small indie movie. A particular grandma was my favorite.
