The first 50 minutes or so are extremely boring, and while things do get more interesting in the final 30 minutes of the film, it’s too little too late. Aside from the occasional reference to the first film, the movie fails to feel like a Blair Witch film. You aren’t missing anything by skipping this film.

I can't even believe this is a sequel to the movie that changed the horror genre, The Blair witch project demonstrated how to make an actually scary movie using the found footage style and that's what made the movie scary and original but the blair witch project 2 is just an horrible sequel. It abandonds the found footage and makes it looks like a 2000s movie instead of a found footage and it's really really bad, this is why I would never sell the rights of my movie to a big company. This is the example of why.

I have no problem admitting that ‘Book of Shadows’ is a bad movie. It absolutely is, without a doubt. However, it is a bad movie that I love. I have probably seen this movie two dozen times since it was released. I used to put on the dvd before I went to bed 20 years ago. There’s just something about it that connects with me.
