See more PERCY B @P.BADINAGE Jul 9 Didn't care for the book when it came out years ago, but can't believe the movie could be worse. Very disappointing in every respect including the fact that Rene is 57 and the Rox guy actor is 28. Seriously??? Rene looks like a woman in her 50's and Hugh Grant really looks old. So that's hard to get past, and then there's nothing of a story at all. Cringeworthy embarrassing attempt at humor actually. Fails miserably. See more Alyssa B @RT53996105 Jul 1 I don’t ever even write reviews. But I hated this movie so much I felt compelled to. The first two are such favourites to me. The third didn’t live up, but it had some of the soul and humour still. This movie was such a departure I wondered if it were written by AI. You know the story and the ending going into it, and that wasn’t what bothered me. The parts about losing a partner were touching, but I really can’t verbalise how let down I was by the pace, the soul and the humour. I got to just after she hooked up with the young guy and I had to turn it off. Maybe it’s because I’m not her age bracket, idk. In my mind I’ll happily pretend the last two movies don’t exist. See more donnie M @RT64375194 Jun 17 i LOVE the other 3 bridget Jones movies and watch them whenever they're on hbo or showtime and give them 5 stars because 'the cast' works-her friends, her parents, the song choices which are all amazing and and the circumstances and just the way Bridget is as in 'awesome' and she is my all time favorite actress but this movie-BORING and maybe 'woke' is the word-it's like a bunch of jumbled up stuff and if Renee wasn't in it-i wouldn't have kept watching-would be great to do a Bridget Jones 5 with all the great people in 1, 2 and 3 but i'd sure miss Marc Darcy See more pudgy P @Rongreasely Jun 13 Ruined the legacy of the original films.
