This was well acted, well shot & mostly entertaining. The ending was very underwhelming but not bad enough that it ruins the movie. I’ll always root for indie movies & this is a strong effort.

Despite nice set design, good direction and a nice performance by lead Rebecca Calder, "Broken Bird" is simply okay, not very memorable and certainly doesn't present anything new. It's the best movie about a woman working in a funeral home of 2026, but that's not saying much. For a much smarter and better movie with a similar setting, see the 1996 "Kissed."

Yeah it wasn't perfect, but was still pretty good. No jump scares, which is always nice. Weaving together the plotlines worked pretty well. Ms. Calder is perfectly unhinged. Twists you can kinda see coming from a while away, but they still do hit when they finally get there.
