Camp Rock was never trying to be prestige television; it was trying to convince twelve-year-olds that summer camp came with a soundtrack and a shot at true love, and on that front, mission very much accomplished, then and now. Go to Full Review

It’s G-rated, polished, and filled with that signature, feel-good, hyper Mouse House tone and pacing. It’s corny — but sometimes we need a little bit of corn in our lives. Go to Full Review

The problem with constantly dragging the old music back into the room is that it invites comparison, which is incredibly unhelpful when the new songs already sound like they were written to resemble Camp Rock rather than become part of it. Go to Full Review

Not everything works equally well, but it's a far more entertaining and worthwhile sequel than you might expect from another nostalgia-fueled revival. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Cody H @Codyhays2005 23h This was an ok movie. Nothing as good as compared to the first two See more Bogi B @RT78025539 1d I am so tired of seeing Malachi Barton everywhere retire him immediately he's ruining every movie that he was ever been in. If i see him in another show or movie from my past I will go to Disney myself and say some things that are not so very nice. I also hate how unrealistic this whole movie is from the first 2 movies....Why are the kids not on dru8gs where is the molly!! Demi Lovato did not die for our sins for this slop to be released. Who allowed Joe Jonas to drive the car on the set he cant even park!!! OHHHH DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE GUY HITTING THE BACKFLIP OFF OF THE BUS.... Nobody did that the way Kevin Jonas would of died in the first movie from doing that omfg doing too much...They took something good and managed to ruin it not once but twiceeee. Try again matter fact bring back the Jonas Brothers show now immediately. See more Alan B @RT58414104 2d The movie is very good. It's story, cast and soundtracks are fantastic just like the original movies. The fact that the old characters appeared in the movie brings nostalgia.🥰😍😄. The "tomorrow " soundtrack is very good and emotional. See more Jace E @thefilmguy 5d How this movie made me feel in one word: Preoccupied. The new music is fantastic. My kids love it and we've been rocking out ever since watching it. The rest of the film is lackluster, even for a Disney Channel show. There is truly never any conflict. A few times, something dramatic happens but it's quickly resolved. Like most recent Disney Channel projects, movie is meh, music is great. Best Character: Fletch Best Scene: First Time Hearing "Tomorrow" Best Piece of Score: "Score Suite" Best Song: "Tomorrow" ("Echo" had a strong case, but I don't love the opening chant) Note: The song at the end "My Own Drum" might be the worst song I've ever heard. See more Alberto C @alcbertoo 5d I liked the movie "Camp Rock 3". I found it to be a good sequel to the saga, with a well-written plot.
I think they thought this movie through very carefully. It combines a lot of information from the first two films, while improving it and making some elements less cringe.
Maybe the only important mistake in the plot, for me, is that it is less fascinating and exciting than the first and second movies.
About the acting, I found Hudson Stone, as Desi, really cool. I really liked his character and the way he is designed. I also want to say that Malachi Barton’s performance as Fletch, in my opinion, is good.
Now I just want to talk about the scene where all five finalists of the contest were singing in the "tour van" during the third challenge. It was very emotional. I really loved the song, and I think it explains the moral of the movie perfectly.
The ending, instead, was, for me, very trivial. Rating: 3.5/5 See more Guillaume L @RT30219341 6d Camp Rock 3 est une déception. See more Read all reviews
