Suzanne B @TheUpsideDown Apr 4 Emotions captured well but inaccuracies throughout and (spoiler alert) the cute little happy ending felt like a kick in the teeth. Looking forward to finding my loved one a care home for £700 a week where there is pretty furniture (not wipe clean), no problem with urine and everyone just sits around playing scrabble unaided and painting and smiling!! See more Karen W @Karen52cc Apr 4 This is a powerful and hard hitting film. Bringing to the forefront the struggles of having elderly parents who are struck by illness. The actresses are outstanding and portrayed their characters in the most sensitive way. It’s a problem a lot of families have to face, many of us grow old ! If you have no family around you’ve not much hope as the care system in Britain is at rock bottom. I’m going through this with my own Dad now and could relate to everything in this film. Beautifully made film about family connection when all is said & done ! See more Read all reviews
