02/17/2021 It's a good film with an ok directing. I especially enjoyed the screenplay which made the characters well characterized. I didn't like Uma Thurman's acting and part. But it was funny and most of all it was realist... Not the classic film with a nosense twist.. Pretty good if you want to laugh. See more 02/16/2021 Ceremony has a few laughs and it’s an OK watch but it’s no wedding crashers. The biggest problem here is none of the characters are very likable. The writing could’ve been stronger and the movie really could’ve been funnier. I didn’t really feel any chemistry at these two leads ever dated. The Director shows promise maybe I’ll direct something better down the road but as it is it’s a pretty average effort. See more 12/03/2016 OMG! When i first turned this on I thought I was watching a gay movie about a guy on a journey who refuses to accept he's gay while chasing after some girl who doesn't want him. His bff looked like he was is in love with him and wanted him to love him back. One of the worst movies i ever watched... uma thurman's acting was sooo flat and uninvolved... i dont think there was a single good thing about this movie... characters didnt evoke any sympathy... if would have been better if actually was about a gay guy trying to figure out who he was otherwise.... horrible horrible horrible See more 08/31/2014 Quirky, pseudo-intellectual, and stylistic, but lacking emotional grip. Angarano gives a strange performance that I couldn't quite get into or believe. Same with the rest of the cast for that matter. Zoe is a woman who doesn't have any characteristics worthy of the love of two men. None of the characters were lovable, even the plot was not enduring. There didn't seem to be any redeeming qualities at all. I was throughly disappointed.
