Kika A @Kikakaaaa 1h I can’t put into words how much I absolutely loved Clash of the Thundermans. If you thought this franchise was running out of steam, this movie proves the exact opposite. Splitting the family up Civil War style because of Chloe's new powers was an absolute stroke of genius. It manages to keep the exact same goofy, heartwarming humor of the original series while raising the stakes with much bigger action and real tension.Seeing Phoebe and Max lead opposing sides was incredible. You can truly feel how much love Kira Kosarin and Jack Griffo have for this universe as executive producers; this feels like a direct love letter to everyone who grew up watching them.The movie flew by so fast, and the ending left me begging for more. With the massive success it's currently having on Paramount+, Nickelodeon needs to greenlight a sequel or another season of the show immediately. The special effects didn't stray away from the ones of the original series! (I watched the original one in primary school) my only gripe with this exquisite film is, the switch up villain trope where the bad guy fakes being good but does a switch up. They've already done that in the last film with the Dark Mayhem Jr. Other than that, I loved this movie and how it felt like a parody of captain america civil war with the team breaking apart, and Max (SPOILERS AHEAD) He became a vigilante after the Civil War just like Captain America became the vigilante Nomad after Civil War. This movie was amazing and I highly recommend this to someone who wants a good laugh. The best part of the entire movie has to be the family dynamic. Having Chloe’s new powers trigger this whole "Civil War" style split between Max and Phoebe was a brilliant move. It felt less like a silly sitcom episode and more like a real, high-stakes superhero conflict. Seeing the family have to choose sides and watching Phoebe and Max lead opposite factions showed how much these characters have grown up. They still have that classic, hilarious sibling bickering. It’s just a flat-out fun ride from start to finish. It’s got the laugh-out-loud comedy you want, but it also has a ton of heart. If you haven't watched it yet, you are seriously missing out. We absolutely need to blow this movie up so Nickelodeon gives us the green light on more spin-offs or a sequel. 10/10, highly recommend! ⚡️💥 See more Jack P @RT02995635 1d This movie was shit, I can’t believe to say how bad this really is let me give some examples. First of all the main comedy aspect was the rabbit that had no real purpose in the film just to fall in love with a chicken. The CGI was absolutely appalling I believe they should cut colosso and focus on an acting catch and better CGI, I grew up watching the show and this was a let down. The CGI was that bad that Chloe’s powers looked like they were coming out of thin air and also it just generally ai generated slop anyways!!! Barbs face didn’t move all movie. This movie was just overall unrealistic, stupid and had no real cause even the sentimental parts just came out cheesy and like waited potential I hope this movie ends the franchise for all of our sakes because if this is what superhero media will be like then we are doomed. The storyline was much stronger, the characters felt more mature, and the CGI was a noticeable improvement, making the action scenes more exciting and believable.
