Daniel B @DANIEL2004 1d "Cobra" es un cliché gigantesco de los años 80, y precisamente ahí radica su magia y lo que la hace tan especial. Es una propuesta descaradamente exagerada, visualmente brusca, con un product placement tan evidente como cómico y una trama tan lineal que prescinde por completo de cualquier subtexto. Y sin embargo, funciona a la perfección. Es de esas joyas donde el cine de la época —y muy especialmente el sello de Sly— se permitía el lujo de detener la narrativa a mitad de metraje para encajar un videoclip totalmente gratuito que terminaba siendo absoluto oro puro, algo que aquí vuelve a repetirse por todo lo alto. Más que una narrativa tradicional, la película funciona como un desfile de Sylvester Stallone regalando algunos de los planos y secuencias más emblemáticos de toda la década, usando la historia apenas como un pretexto funcional para unirlos.
