Jul 21, 2019 Wasn't a fan of this horror film. Didn't do enough to scare nor gross you out, so it was really tame for such a disturbing premise. The acting also left a lot to be desired. There weren't many positives here. See more

Oct 16, 2016 Save for the beginning, there's not a boring moment in this modern day version of the French The Wages of Fear. Albeit the plot is quite thin, this leaves room for more suspense and plenty of excellently crafted scenes of horror, action and slowmo explosions. See more

Jun 15, 2014 Cold sweat is a great original horror movie about two old men the kidnap people and use nitroglycerin to kill their victims. The director uses camera moves in slow motion and the way home someone blows up from having the nitroglycerin on them. B (2011) See more

Dec 14, 2013 A new twist on the torture porn genre, Cold Sweat is a tense thriller that draws upon the history of violence in Argentina for its inspiration. An intelligent, brutal, and gripping film, Cold Sweat keeps you on the edge of your seat but never engages its source material in the critically compelling fashion that it could have. Still, it is a stylish, twisted, and original film that will keep fans of smart horror films engaged throughout its run time. See more
