This is the kind of smart, tense, well-acted thriller that used to play in cinemas and no longer does, which is worth mourning even while this one waits on Netflix for anyone who wants it. Go to Full Review

The social context...is well-crafted, even incorporating humor and social nuances (gambling addiction). And the dialogue is good... [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

...if the viewer surrenders to the multiple twists and turns of the story...the result is a thriller that will not change the history of the genre, but that does place itself above the average offering of a platform like Netflix. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Collision Course attempts something different with mixed results. A compelling narrative hook and an ability to craft tension bring enough to engage, but the character-side struggles keep it from firing on all cylinders. Go to Full Review

...once the movie’s true nature becomes clear, it turns into a creative exercise that its director...has translated perfectly to the screen, making it a thriller that disorients—in a good way—hooks you, and entertains.[Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Tim R @Timmyboy2 34 min ago The film begins as a straight forward heist movie. The acting, pacing and storyline all kept me engaged, then…a vital moment in the film is repeated. I just knew we were going to have multiple telling of the same heist with different scenarios. Whilst it remained watchable, the film lost its cohesion. I was never sure what did, or did not happen so was not invested in watching. All I wanted to do was fast forward and find out which scenario actually played out. Alas, the ending did not address this and only confused me even more. No logic, no reason, no conclusion to any of the story arcs. This film, in my opinion, is style over substance. I’m sure in the director’s mind it was some kind of statement piece, however the result was a bit underwhelming. In short, good acting, good cinematography and great potential let down by a disjointed narrative and confusing ending. See more daniel H @RT71425213 2 days ago The movie had potential and then it turned into an incoherent mess upon itself. One moment when characters dead. The next minute, another character's dead. And then the character that was dead previously is alive. And there's no explanation, terrible movie, half a star all day long, acting with subpar people can't cry, emotionless dots is what they were cows. And costumes might have been better, actors and actresses. I said what I said See more Patrick E @RT24188760 2 days ago After 30 mn one discovers it is a multiverse narrative! What the hell! I stopped it right then and there. How lame. You invest yourself in the beginning and then "your story" geta dumped in the trash and a new one begins See more Joe W @JoeWasik 2 days ago Not very interesting. This is your standard Heist plot. They speak very fast Spanish making subtitles a headache. The English dubbing makes it look too fake. I could not get interested. See more Jane H @RT10168765 2 days ago What’s up with all the poor reviews? I thought it was brilliant and fun to watch! It’s the kind of movie that keeps you thinking at the end. SPOILER ALERT: In the end, the 4 robbers are all cops who were conned into robbing a bank as a cover for a bank manager’s diamond heist. Let me tell it from the bank manager’s perspective: When he finds out that one of his clients keep valuable, insured diamonds in the vault, they partner to plan insurance fraud by swapping out the diamonds with fakes, getting "robbed", and cashing out on the $5M payout. Then, he recruits a cop and ex-cop that are in deep debt to perform the heist, who then engage 2 other cops. In the final scenario, cops rob the bank, 1 guy dies, the diamonds are fake, and they get arrested. The manager double crosses the owner and leaves the country with the real diamonds and the barista. But she double crosses him to escape alone. But he double crosses her because he had been carrying the real diamonds all along. The end! It could be some kind of post modern thing but that was ditched for Woke years ago. See more Read all reviews
