Georgan G @RT98616417 Dec 5, 2023 The TV series Rocky Jones, Space Ranger glued two episodes and called it Crash of the Moons. Some actors you will know from their minor roles in TV/movies don't help much. Not bad, just not good. See more

Curtis C @ccunning145 Feb 12, 2023 A really good movie from a different time. Also released as 'Rocky Jones, Space Ranger: Menace from Outer Space'. It promoted accepting a certain level of risk, delving into the unknown, being honorable & ethical, and left the viewer with a good feeling. Yes, the special effects guys had to actually be creative and not just buy the latest CGI (Cartoon Grade Imagery) package. Think about the lack of violence, gore, vulgarity, skin, and sexual intercourse. Doesn't it just feel good that they can make movie without it?!? Yes, the female lead's short skirt & great gams were probably risque in 1953. Brief synopsis: Jupiter's moon Fornax, 'uninhabitable', shoots a crystal rocket at earth. Rocky & crew spring into action to save the earth. Mistrust, dishonesty, & betrayal feed the drama but 'good will out' in the end and mutual interplanetary trade results. Enjoy with the family! bill t @Spuzz Dec 26, 2022 Looking every bit like the 1954 TV Sci Fi show (that's because it is/was, this was pasted together from episodes of Rocky Jones, Space Ranger), this movie has little excitement, cheap sets, and lots of dull patches. There's FAR more interesting old school sci fi movies out there. See more

Feb 28, 2017 The characters names could really have been better. Crash of the Moons is a feature film consisting of 3 sci-fi episodes from another programme. It as really boring, with almost no sci fi element at all. See more

Jan 8, 2017 The critics were pretty harsh on this one but its from 1954. Don't expect today's special effects and its not a bad movies See more

Aug 22, 2013 Crash of the Moons is a movie made out of episodes of the TV show Rocky Jones: Space Ranger. I can't honestly say that I've ever seen this TV show, or even heard about it, so I watched this with little to no expectations. I guess if you were a kid when these shows first aired then you probably would have been excited to watch them. But as an adult in the early 2000's, this movie was incredibly boring. It's one of the most boring movies that I can remember seeing. It's not that it's bad, but I guess it kind of is since it's just a bunch of episodes of a TV show spliced together, but for its time I'm sure it was fun. So it's not that it's overly bad, just boring and repetitive. Not much else. It was also featured on an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, which even they had a difficult time of keeping things interesting. So the bottom line is that it's a sleep-inducing movie, TV show, or whatever, and there's not much in it to watch now. See more
