As far as Hindi cinema is concerned, 2016 will be remembered primarily for Pink and Dangal; not just because these films wowed the audience, but also because no film in recent times has done as much to sensitize the audience about gender equality...

Going from "Like Stars on Earth" to this film, man Aamir Khan is jacked. The wrestling in this movie is the best wrestling I have seen portrayed in ANY film.it is realistic while still being cinematic and exciting. Likewise, it has great training montages with songs sung by the characters, which give it a unique energy. The family dynamic and well-placed humor give the film a fun energy throughout. Since the film covers so many years, the movie never becomes repetitive. Despite its long runtime, it never feels like it drags. My only problem with it comes in the form of the villain in the picture. In a sports movie, the villain just needs to be the rival athlete who is wanting to stop the protagonist. This movie throws in an extra villain which just feels out of place. It feels like something they would do in an Air Bud movie it's that silly. But despite that flaw, I enjoyed this film.

An above average film with a bit two many musical tracks in it for my taste. Very solid acting effort my Amar Khan who carries this rather average, heart-warming film across the finish line.

An absolute pleasure!! Wonderful storytelling on what happens on we humans set our mind on one thing and can win challenges against all the odds! Let's not call it a sports film. Its a story about endurance. Truly inspiring and captivating to watch... This film did not have the usual melodramatic romance saga that usually Bollywood films bring and that made it more enduring for me..Not sure why critics are calling it too long..I did not find it drawn out at all...I think those critics focused too much on the ending rather than the journey itself... I have watched this movie multiple times and will it again!
