Marco L @decatur555 Oct 22, 2026 This is a rough, badly acted zombie movie whose dialogue and performances often destroy any sense of urgency. Yet it is hard to hate completely because Tony Jopia's affection for the genre is obvious. The film borrows heavily from Demons, 28 Days Later and Peter Jackson-style splatter, sometimes feeling more like imitation than inspiration, but it also has ambition far beyond its resources. The worldwide outbreak footage is one of its best ideas, giving a tiny production a surprisingly global scale, while crowded streets, practical gore and several brutal attacks provide isolated bursts of fun. The problem is everything between those moments: thin characters, weak acting, obvious effects and noise mistaken for tension. It is not good, but zombie fans willing to forgive almost everything for blood, hordes and enthusiastic B-movie chaos may still find a few enjoyable scenes.
