The science is hanging on by a thread, people are outrunning instant ice storms, and Dennis Quaid is basically power walking across the planet to save his kid. It is dramatic, cheesy, and completely ridiculous in the most entertaining way possible. The weather gets so aggressive it feels personally offended by humanity, and I love every second of it. It is pure disaster movie junk food and I mean that as the highest compliment.
