Even though the writing is erratic, Cullen is consistently fantastic. Along with being frightened, she is angry and frustrated. Since Emotionally, she has layers, making her much more interesting. The pairing makes for a satisfying watch.

It’s a film that struggles a bit with its execution, but by the end, it’s stuck the landing so thoroughly that you basically forget the flaws are there, leaving you with memories of great scares and some truly brutal kills.

Diabolic might be one of the most frustrating horror movies I’ve ever seen. The story is disjointed, the pacing is all over the place, and the characters make illogical choices just to keep the plot moving. There’s no tension, no real suspense, and no emotional investment. Dialogue is unnatural, scenes drag, and the attempts at scares feel forced. Watching it is exhausting rather than thrilling. It’s honestly embarrassing that Daniel J. Phillips and writers Daniel J. Phillips, Mike Harding, and Ticia Madsen could release something so careless. This isn’t horror, it’s amateurish storytelling, plain and simple. 👎🏼👎🏼

I thought it was pretty good. Very suspenseful movie, with at least one jumpscare getting me. The characters stayed within the realm of reason, and none of the decisions made had you scratching your head from the level of stupidity of such. It gets my nod for believabilty, but it's apparent the director didn't give the back half of the film or the ending much thought; it was a bit rushed. Love the concept, and majority of the movie makes it worth your wild. There's enough substance to the film that minimizes the lackluster conclusion, nullifying enough of the sensation to feeling letdown. Diabolic is a recommend.

OK, so the end wasn’t that great however this is a great film. I watch a lot of horror films and it’s hard to find a good one. Nowadays the whole atmosphere was creepy, but I really enjoyed the scares and the evil dead type of images . This was one scary witch
