Matt L @Mattliptak Feb 10, 2026 Diana is a restrained, quietly effective film anchored by a solid performance from Naomi Watts, who holds her own in an exceptionally difficult role. The story is undeniably sad—particularly in its focus on Diana’s relationship with Hasnat Khan—and Naveen Andrews brings real sensitivity and dignity to that portrayal. By centering on a lesser-known chapter from the final two years of Diana’s life, the film offers a more intimate, human backstory rather than grand spectacle. It’s not perfect, but it’s thoughtful, subdued, and emotionally heavy in a way that feels sincere—very different in tone and approach from The Crown, and worth watching for that reason alone. Erica K @RT62697082 Aug 22, 2025 Horrible performance by Naomi Watts. I didn’t believe her portrayal of Diana in appearance (bad hairstyle, makeup and costumes), speech or attitude. See more

Kyle M @RT77296778 Jul 16, 2024 If you’ve seen “Spencer” that came out few years ago, that takes place before this much earlier released inferiority, simultaneously termed regarding who directed and collaborated without the supposedly acclaimed magnificence except very rarely. The focus is unbalanced and underdeveloped without any instinctual tendency to dive deep in contributing anything new to the memorable legacy, even Watts’ impressively dressed deliverance exposed how overall dullishly flawed it turned out which discouraged true embodiment. Best to proceed with caution if this still lingers in the radar as there’s nothing much to impress here. (C) See more
