Fifty T @RT01421419 2 days ago Borrowed Premise, Average Execution The biggest problem is how casually it treats infidelity and broken marriages. This isn't just unrealistic in an Indian setting - I don't think audiences in the UK or the US would find these reactions believable either. The emotional consequences rarely feel genuine, so it's difficult to invest in the characters or their choices. The film is clearly borrowing heavily from Husbands and Wives, but while that film divided opinion on theme, it was carried by outstanding performances. Here, the lead cast are perfectly watchable without ever being exceptional, and the supporting actors don't add much either. The direction also lacks the sharpness needed for this kind of dialogue-driven drama, leaving many scenes feeling flat instead of engaging. 5.5/10: There are a few thoughtful moments and some decent humour, but overall I found it more interesting as an idea than as a film itself.
