TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Jul 24, 2026 Doug’s 1st Movie was a major disappointment for me. I expected a fun and creative expansion of the television series, but instead it felt like a movie that never justified its own existence. Not every animated show needs a feature-length adaptation, and this is one that probably should have stayed on television. The story feels forced, especially with the swamp creature plot, which never fit naturally into Doug’s world. Characters like Patty Mayonnaise and Skeeter also felt different from their television counterparts, making it harder to connect with them. The screenplay lacks the charm and heart that made the series enjoyable, and the adventure never captures the feeling of a classic Disney animated film. While Disney Animation was experimenting with different projects during this era, this one simply misses the mark. Between the weak story, uninspired animation, and forgettable execution, Doug’s 1st Movie is a film I have no desire to revisit. See more

Noe G @RT06896914 Jul 25, 2025 Doug’s first movie was an amazing, animated film based on a TV show I’ve ever seen and my rating is a 10/10 this is one way for Doug to have his own feature film See more

Stephen C @bob25009 Jun 11, 2025 Funny in 1 hour and 17 minutes. The worldwide gross is $19,440,089.00. All ages admitted. See more

See more

Dino G @RT13725662 May 4, 2025 It's....decent, I guess. Looks like a TV show episode though. It could've worked as a two part special instead of a theatrical movie though though the plot is solid enough. See more

Luke R @LuckyM0vi3Buff Feb 15, 2025 This is literally the worst Disney movie of all existence! I hate the animation, especially when they use it for a movie! And the characters are idiotic, especially Doug! See more
