The well-chosen profile subjects prove both engaging and sympathetic in their fears and desires, giving the film a much-needed emotional resonance.

Mr. Milewski does not directly address race and ethnic background, but clearly has some serious issues in mind.

Despite the tonal dissonance, the film worked as an argument to show that for many gay men, there are complicated emotional obstacles (and unspoken physical obstacles) that can leave you feeling like you don't belong in the gay community.

Rather than simply celebrate queer highlife, this abstract view (coordinating the blue sky, sea, tanned bodies and aerial perspectives) dares us to reflect and intellectualize.

"Dream Boat" includes plenty of buff bodies but Milewski has more serious topics in mind, and that is why his wistful doc resonates.

Who knew this was a real thing? Pairs well as a chaser for "Saltmen of Tibet".

I guess the people in the audience reviewing this documentary are all homophobes and for once I agree with the critics. As a gay man, I completely identified with the feelings expressed by many of the characters. It's all true, this is the way it is. Wow! Made me laugh, cry, smile... I just loved it!

Beautiful cinematography that's stunning and also helps to guide the emotional feel of this film. There's a juxtapose of how men on a gay cruse present themselves and what lays beneath the surface. I see a lot of negative reviews. Lighten up because they're on a cruse. I'm sure they have professional lives but they are not talked about in the film, nor should they be talked about. Don't judge the gay community.

This felt really odd... The people the film focused on didn't seem to have anything interesting to say, and what they did say was stretched so thinly.

Horrible. On a ship full of gay men you would think they could have found some more interesting stories.
