K G @KatyG-S Aug 20 An underrated movie from Tim Burton. Johnny Depp is bound to be some of Katy's favorite actors - an actor's acting has talent, especially when he sounds similar to Willy Wonka. Many others bring impact. I believe I now know where Booberella from "The Simpsons" comes from. Every cast member is great & it is funny too. Just. Ed Wood had talent - have a B/W camera & everything feels so real. It feels like the mid 20th century. This was rather distinct of a choice for a director to do so it is set in the time. See more mark G @Mark_Alan_G. May 14 A certifiable masterpiece. This has to be in the top 10 of greatest movies from the 1990s. And I feel sorry for anyone that doesn't understand that. The script, the acting, the black and white cinematography, it's just brilliant. I am by no means a Tim Burton fanatic, but this film is worthy of so much respect. Depp, Landau and Parker give the best performances of their careers, so invested.. Then you have incredible supporting performances by Murray, Jones and others. Magical film.
