Andrew T @RT72355796 Oct 19, 2026 This is an absolutely fantastic conclusion to one of the best shows ever made! Breaking Bad was a monumental series, and this movie gives Jesse a well deserved satisfying ending. It was a wonderful show and this is a wonderful movie! 9/10 See more Cinema S @cinema_sensei Sep 27, 2026 A good continuation of Jesse’s story, even if it never reaches the heights of Breaking Bad. I liked that it focused more on his trauma, escape and attempt to start over rather than trying to recreate the show. Aaron Paul is excellent and carries the film emotionally. Some parts feel slower than necessary, but as an epilogue, it gives Jesse a meaningful and satisfying conclusion. See more Marco L @decatur555 Sep 11, 2026 A careful, tense and very respectful epilogue for Jesse Pinkman. The series already had an almost perfect ending, so this film did not need to rewrite anything or compete with it. What it offers is smaller, but emotionally valuable: the chance to follow Jesse through the aftermath and see whether someone so broken can still find a way out. Vince Gilligan captures the original tone beautifully: long silences, slow tension, meaningful objects, threatening spaces and a visual style that makes a room, a car or a desert feel dangerous. Aaron Paul is magnificent, carrying trauma, fear and exhaustion without turning Jesse into a clean hero. Some may argue it was unnecessary, and in terms of plot it does not add a huge new piece to the universe. But for those who cared about Jesse, it matters. It uses nostalgia as a wound rather than a celebration and gives one of television's most beloved characters a modest, melancholic and deeply earned farewell. See more David N @Nolan305 Aug 21, 2026 It has a great to get the band back together feel about it. Not able to deliver the same hyper quality of story or as engaging as the series but still very good. Just as well acted and great to see the development of Jesse’s story. See more Count I @Locutus Aug 15, 2026 Nice to get closure on Jesse’s story and an expansion on his story. It was going to struggle to keep the insane quality of the story line though and therefore that’s why it isn’t 5 stars for me. See more Alex J @RT51904888 Aug 7, 2026 What a disappointing follow up to the greatest piece of art ever made. Gilligan et al misunderstand the story they told, apparently, as Jesse’s story does not need a conclusion. He was not the main character of BB, and the end of his arc neither serves the story or our appetite. The best compliment I can pay this is “forgettable.” See more Read all reviews
