For all the overproduction of the speed scenes, most of the vehicular stunts and set pieces are pretty impressive, if really, really stupid; I swear that the race through the mine shaft was lifted right out of a Speed Racer cartoon.

Rating: 70%. This is a fun addition to the Fast and Furious franchise. I will say they should have added a 3 or 4 or a title to separate it from the original. Its cool seeing Brian and Dom reconnect, and it's pretty epic. Now with Fast and Furious there are lots of things that don't make much sense, but the action-packed car sequences make it an enjoyable watch, just don't expect anything too profound.

I think the 4th movie has a more convincing story than the others, and it starts to improve its race scenes. They brought back Toretto, and went back to the franchise's heart. But, once again, the problem of this one was the big plot hole about Brian. The guy went back to being a cop? Seriously?
