Smartly cast with an ensemble of up-and-coming young actors who deliver the bitchy comedic dialogue like they wrote it themselves, Forbidden Fruits is very much of our current moment. Go to Full Review

It’s campy, full of laughs and some gore, and even sounds a chord about breaking free – or at least trying too – of female friendships and cliques. Go to Full Review

The movie is rarely fun or funny, further dulled by gray-washed scenes that turn the hottest store in the mall into a pale echo of better cult films. Go to Full Review

Reinhart here makes a formidable and funny coven leader, and she’s particularly good during the bloody climax. Go to Full Review

I did appreciate how well this film sticks the landing by committing to a certain tone. Yes, some gorier elements occur quite rapidly, but they only add to the way the film’s pitch naturally develops over time. Go to Full Review

KE 1d Felt a little crammed. Also the ending was a bit off. Still wondering why Apple was homeless in Dallas. See more Edward 4d There is so much to these women that, for an interpersonally-based cinema junkie like me, I can see returns to this flick becoming a regular habit. I even know what I want to focus on the 1st time I watch it again. Performances are off the charts from all parties with regard to specific stakes, histories, & authenticity to the world of the film. And while its not exactly a horror movie per s, the horror genres kind of all over it. See more Deborah H 5d It was entertaining, a bit Mean Girl-ish. I would watch the sequel if they make one. See more Mark M 6d I really wanted to like this movie. But instead of giving the characters any believable nuance they dumbed them down so far that so much of it felt corny. The only reason I didnt give it one star is that most of the actors powered through the bad dialogue and scattered storyline with strong performances. See more aaron f Apr 4 the movie wasn't scary it was more a dumb chick flick i wouldn't reccamened it See more Michelle T Apr 4 Needed more plot but very camp and a fun time See more Read all reviews
