Robert P @Superbad 3 hrs ago Forget Paris is a *3* star Movie so why is somebody giving this a *5* star rating??? See more Michelle V @RT40744535 May 2, 2026 This was one of the first DVDs I owned, so I've seen it dozens of times. Crystal is great, Winger has no charisma and barely watchable, but the supporting cast is top notch. It's hokey, but it's so fun you don't care, even if you're kind of a movie snob and don't want to laugh at a pigeon gag. William Hickey's performance alone makes this movie a great time, and you'll be quoting the hilarious lines for weeks (or in my case, decades.) It's funny and has a genuine message about the real life challenges after a fairytale romance and learning to commit to your partner even when things aren't perfect. The supporting staff is excellent and Reiner directed it flawlessly. William Hickey just steals it as the Father in Law. The seagul stuck to Debra Wingers head as she tries to walk nonchalantly into the vets office? Its not your usual romantic comedy, its not supposed to be. See more Read all reviews
