She like to dance and every now and then she goes to a club. When she meets the newly divorced Rodolfo, they dance and have one night stand. But soon, they begin a romance and she brings him to the birthday party of her son. However, Rodolfo leaves the apartment without saying goodbye. Further, he financially support his two adult daughters and ex-wife that abuse him. When he tries to react with Gloria, they travel to Vina del Mar to spend a couple of days together. Will Rodolfo dedicate his time to Gloria? "Gloria" (2013) is an overrated romance with the life of a middle-aged divorced woman. Gloria is free-spirited and has a romance with a man with money but without personality. But in the end, life goes on. My vote is six. Frequenting a local dance hall in search of her quest, she eventually meets and falls in love with Rodolfo (Sergio Hernandez), a mature and loving man who, much to Gloria's chagrin, chooses to mysteriously keep her a secret from his family. The movie works primarily because of the brave performance of Garcia, who tackles the role of a lonely woman with passionate tenacity. While the film does feel like it lags for a bit around the halfway point, it remains a poignant and moving story about loneliness and regret, all leading to an ebullient final scene.
