Aug 18, 2016 Tony Danza as a man who must keep his recently deceased father's three orangutans alive for several years in order to receive his father's multi million dollar estate. Another monkey comedy from the eighties. See more

May 7, 2014 A guy must keep his fathers pet orangutans in order to inherit his estate. Stupid! See more

Oct 5, 2013 Hot on the heels of the seminal orangutan comedy "Every Which Way But Loose" comes this Tony Danza/Danny Devito orangutan comedy that ups the ante with three orangutans! Lowbrow does not begin to describe the comedy in this film. "Every Which Way But Loose" is Shakespeare compared to this. Still, I'm quite partial to monkey/ape oriented comedy, so I probably enjoyed this than most viewers. And if you're curious, writer/director Jeremy Joe Kronsberg is actually the screenwriter behind "Every Which Way But Loose," his only other screenwriting credit. See more

Oct 27, 2012 Tony Danza is bequested 3 apes in his uncle's will and will inherit $5 million if he keeps them alive for two years. Full of predictable slapstick that passed as comedy in the 70's. As bad as Who's The Boss but at least Danny Pintauro is absent. See more

Oct 29, 2010 "I went bananas, when I found this vintage, classic." Going Ape, is hysterically funny and definately one for your movie collection, if you can find it. Thumbs up!!! See more

Sep 23, 2009 A disappointing entry in the Danzanian ouevre. A dark chapter in orangutan comedy history. However, Daniel M. DeVito (of 'My Little Pony: The Movie' fame) delights as a swarthy little man in a French maid's outfit. See more
