I like the length as the definitive split between the two halves really gives the story an epic scope that is unusual for a horror movie. A nature vs. nurture tale with werewolves. What's not to like!?

It's absolutely incredible. The movie isn't perfect but it still extremely good. "Good manners" isn't realistic, however it adds to its magical appeal. Everything choice here leads to a fairytale atmosphere without giving up the horror and the gore. I noticed a big influence of "Black Sabbath" in it

A lesbian and proto-feminist reformulation of the wolf stories that shines for its admirable stylistic construction, and for its maternal and loving look at a story that, otherwise, would have been a faithful servant of the horror genre and that, instead, is presented like a sweet, well-acted film about resistance and the unexpected bonds that are born from inexorable circumstances.

This movie is bat$hip crazy and thus very hard to describe without spoiling. However this musical/comedy/drama/horror/thriller.... you get the idea comes out of the blender and isn't bad. It works and despite some overstretched scenes never takes itself serious. The acting may make you cringe, but overall this is really well made and fun. That 2-hour plus run time may be intimidating, but it's never predictable. Final Score: 7.1/10
