And that I noticed that this movie was made as a big "screw-you" to Hollywood and movie sequels, to me I find that genius & brilliant for a movie sequel, Overall this is one the best sequel I ever saw. And when people went to see Gremlins 2: The New Batch, they were surprised by how goofy it was. This is a chaotically cartoonish sequel. It seems that Warner Bros. treated this like they would a Looney Tunes short, including breaking the fourth wall, defying the laws of physics and logic, and even including random cameos. However, the puppetry has definitely improved, even if the storytelling hasn’t, and the silliness prevents you from trying to take anything seriously in Gremlins 2, and it’s oddly enjoyable. Lembro que eu amaaava brincar de imitar o gremlin que fala "Estou derretendo! Estou derretendo! O que eu acho notável nessa continuação é que, partindo de uma premissa tão insólita quanto a das criaturas criadas por Chris Columbus, os produtores decidiram pisar no acelerador e go full meta, full camp, nonsense e besteirol! Aparentemente nenhuma ideia da sala de roteiro foi cortada, e usaram todas nas novas mutações dos gremlins: temos gremlin fantasma da opera, o morcego, o inteligente, o salada, a aranha, o eletricidade... Todos muito inventivos e mostrando que não pouparam orçamento de efeitos especiais práticos. Mas a minha favorita desde garoto sempre foi a trans (rsrs), amei o destaque que ela tem, sendo a última cena do filme com ela uma piada diabólica haha!
