Connor 2d Loved the 3D experience! The screen and the glasses could be improved a bit. Seemed too dark at times. See more jesse v 3d they don't make practical magic like they used to in film making. though the charmful moments pad out the pacing a bit too much. also the hat was barely placed on Draco, and the family is still stuck at the lighthouse, and the ravenclaw and Hufflepuff houses are irrelevant until the later books, and random animals keep popping up. i do wonder how many days it took to film the mail scene. And wonder how fast the characters move around the school. Okay maybe this is 70% world building and the rest is potter's origin story. Also the dog sidequest was bizarrely an assumption from potter, of which doesn't come into play until literally halfway into the movie. And we don't see other girls in the school until the quidditch game. Also there's no sense of time except for Halloween and Christmas. wasn't it weird that only ron and potter remained in school on Christmas? There was no reason for Draco to snitch on hagrid's dragon only for the dark forest to get introduced, of which was explicitly hinted at earlier. Also WHY was Nevil out at night preventing the crew from losing points?? And how exactly did potter get saved after the dungeon movie? And how did dumbledore see all of the crew's actions was the point system only used for a good cheer by the end? The set designs REALLY carry this story humongously. Also the rereleases have bonus BTS at the end that looked hastily put together with no proper ending. There were a lot of visual artifacts in the foreground and background of the screen. Where some characters looked like they had a blurred 2nd self. And lights would bleed into the image of other characters and overall making the viewing a little weird at points. Still tho good movie.
