It's a movie about a life, and life can be kinda funny and kinda poignant, even when it's full of ordinary things, like age, sickness and loss.

It's safe to say that 'Harvest' is a modest film, but those are often the ones that pull on our emotions the most.

Robert Loggia gets in touch with his more vulnerable side while never letting go of the wiseguy, duking it out with mortality and doing Old Man And The Sea. Though as he describes it, via bicycle as opposed to a boat, serving as a chariot to oblivion.

There's little to be harvested here, save dreary, clich-filled dramaturgy and unaffecting performances.

Good story about life lessons and interesting characters with some decent depth, but the poor writing of the incidental lines throughout the film hurt it.

Could have been a lot better if less leisurely in the first 2/3.

Extremely slow moving and poor character developments. Common story and common ending to the ever typical acceptance of who I am via a love interest....

Great cast explores a family that comes together around its dying patriarch, wonderfully played by Robert Loggia.

This thoughtful, carefully scripted film treats the difficult and sensitive issues of illness, and being a caregiver.... and of course love and loss, life and death. Robert Loggia and Barbara Barrie truly shine in nuanced performances, although the entire cast does a beautiful job. Marc Meyers direction is perfect. Bravo to all!
