Disney tackles Greek mythology in this animated feature. Hercules (Tate Donovan), a son of gods, was snatched as a baby by Hades (James Woods) and forced to live among mortals as a half-man, half-god. Now a teenager, Hercules needs to perform a rite of passage on Earth to prove himself worthy of living with the gods on Mount Olympus. With his plucky satyr sidekick, Philoctetes (Danny DeVito), along for the ride, Hercules must learn how to use his strength to defeat a series of evil creatures.

Fast-paced and packed with dozens of pop culture references, Hercules might not measure up with the true classics of the Disney pantheon, but it's still plenty of fun.

In the galaxy of Disney movies, it's near the top but not among the greatest like Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and the original 101 Dalmatians. Still, a good-but-not-great Disney is Olympian fields ahead of the competition's best.

The film was great but some parts are not close to Greek mythology as they should be. However the film is good nonetheless as it had some interesting action

Even though there were some minor areas that could had done with a bit more work within its structure. But along with its well driven and likeable characters that had plenty of growth and development, Disney's animated feature Hercules still gives something that I am sure families and children will enjoy.

Super amazing idea for a theme of a movie. Lots of hilarious one liners. Filled with action but I form love this animated movie as much as I love Coco,and The Emperors New Groove.

Synopsis
