All in all, this fleeting romance is perfectly imperfect, just like most if not all relationships. Go to Full Review

Parvindar K @RT41239918 12/26/2024 To say that i loved this movie would be such an understatement. The emotions I'm going through right now is much more than love. It has the tragedy of La La Land without any of the quarrelling of it. It makes you think about the future of the characters, will they ever meet again, or is this the end? The way this movie made me feel and long, I might never feel it again. This movie is on my list of movies I wanna rewatch for the first time and feel the same sensations again and again. I want to forget the ending and just focus on how maybe, maybe they both end up together and the longing ends.. but you know one thing about longing, is that it never ends. You'll laugh, you'll shake your head in disbelief, you'll wonder what the heck are they doing. You'll be happy, you'll be smitten, you'll get excited, sad, frustrated.... I truly enjoyed tge story, performances, cinematography, and the music... Somebody PLEASE tell me who did the song he plays for her!!! Definitely recommend. See more 12/20/2021 Him and Her. Innocence encapsulates this filmmaker's anthem. "Him and Her" joins the cannon of films that imitate our deepest longings… As benefactors of happy accidents that exploit our awful secrets and unyielding isolation, co-morbid to this business of being alive. It does this in every element of its production… Sound. Light. Place and Production Design. Pace… Falling in love is possible again, if you thought it long gone. From the begining until its very end, irresistible reckonings of the nakedness endemic to merging with another, and its magnificent randomness, shows it wicked facade that eats the viewer alive and spits it back out into the world by films end. What remains long after the first watch is a youthful purity to return to the definition of safety we perhaps never had nor knew exists, but strikes the viewer as ancestral, biological, philosophical, and fucking healthy… If only we can hold onto this way of perceiving the other, and our needs and the struggle… The film is better than religion. It merges with all that is in its sincerity and plight to remain pure See more 12/10/2021 This is one of the few best movies I've seen in 2021. A true story that happened to the director of this film in 1989. Two people whose phone lines got crossed purely by chance and formed a bond like no other. Engaging from start to finish. The music is right on, beautifully and skillfully shot, the story is well-written. Price of ticket well spent. Wish they would make more movies like this. See more Read all reviews
