Virgo V @vision Jun 18, 2025 Hormones (Pit Thoem Yai Hua Chai Wa Wun) is a 2008 Thai coming-of-age romance comedy film directed by Songyos Sugmakanan. It stars Charlie Trairat, Sirachuch Chienthaworn, Focus Jirakul, Ratchu Surachalas, Chutima Teepanat, Chantavit Dhanasevi, Thaniya Ummaritchoti, Ungsumalynn Sirapatsakmetha and Lu Ting Wei, with a special appearance by Sola Aoi. It was distributed by GMM Tai Hub. Director Sugmakanan admits he was inspired by the format of the British romantic comedy Love Actually. The studio was anxious to avoid the possible controversy involved in having Japanese adult video star Sora Aoi. Vision wrote: "cliché. Very thought-provoking though. A bunch of restless teenagers during school break where their hearts aflutter. Nothing special. Enjoyed the couple of scenes with Sola Aoi. I mean, who doesn't? At one point, she was widely considered to be one of the most popular adult video idols of the 2000s. In this film, she's surprisingly hilarious. Charlie Trairat has pulled off an advancement in his acting since his last great film as an actor. Two and a half fries!" See more
