The first great film of 2019. A visceral, pulse-pounding, frenetic docudrama held together with extraordinary technique by Maras. Imagine, a Hollywood film based on real events that depicts men and women of diversity as honest-to-God real-life heroes.

Still, "Hotel Mumbai" marks an impressive feature debut for Maras, despite the fact that his script at times lapses into 1970s disaster movie characterizations. (You'll know them when you see them).

This is a hard watch knowing that it’s based on a true story but it’s definitely worth the watch. It seems to portray the events that happened very accurately. This film is now in my top 10 movies that are based on true stories.

HOTEL MUMBAI is a very hardcore look at what self righteous assholes with arms and legs will do in the name of God. Excellent production script, casting, acting and direction for extremely serious, real life horror and tragedy. There's a very special place in the hell for terrorist filth of every and any kind.
